Last week, the Belgian Audit Oversight Board and the audit quality inspection team of the FSMA had the pleasure of welcoming regulators from the Committee of European Auditing Oversight Bodies (CEAOB) Inspection Sub-group. The subgroup’s mission is to improve audit quality inspections in large audit firms. During their 2-day visit, participants exchanged views and experiences, and discussed a variety of topics related to IFRS, banking audit, insurance audit, funds audit and CSRD.
The FSMA also invited the participants to explore its unique Wikifin Lab, the financial educational center of the FSMA. This was highly appreciated by the participants and aroused their interest.
